Mom's pecan crisp cookies

1 cup butter
2-1/2 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour, shifted
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans
pecan halves

Preparazione → 20 min

Cottura → 15 min

1. Cream butter. Add brown sugar and cream until light and fluffy.

2. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients, mixing well. Add pecans.

3. Drop by the spoonful on cookie sheet. Add pecan half to top of each cookie.

4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes.
