Bulgarian spinach
Ricetta di
250 gr frozen spinach (200 gr fresh)
80 gr rice (better if parboiled)
spring onions or onions or shallot
black pepper
salt
dill or thyme
oilseed
natural yoghurt (better if greek/turkish/bulgarian yoghurt)
Preparazione → 5 min
Cottura → 15 min
1. pour the oil in a pot
2. cut the onion and lay it on the oil, add the rice and switch on the stove
3. when the onion is gold and the rice is transparent add as much water as three times the volume of the rice, add the spinach, salt, dill and pepper.
4. cover it allowing the air to escape a bit, cook for about 15 minutes. be careful that the water doesn't lack, but on the same time it should be evaporated when the meal is ready.
5. serve it with yoghurt
