Berry trifle recipe
Ricetta di2 mixed fresh strawberries and berries: washed and drained
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
3/4 cup lemon curd
1/4 cup confectioner sugar
1/2 cup strawberry jam
1 juice of orange, about 1/2 cup
1/2 cup vanilla extract
4 truffle cups
1 pound cake: homemade or store bought: sliced
1 fresh mint leaves
1. 1. Whisk the heavy cream with the confectioner sugar and vanilla extract,until stiff peaks form.
2. 2.In a large measuring cup, squeeze juice of orange in jam. Mix. Put in microwave till runny-like texture for a min:
3. 3.In the bowl with the heavy cream, add lemon curd. Stir together:
4. 4.In truffle cups, add pound cake. Take jam, and pour on top of pound cake, thin layer. Add heavy cream, thin layer.
5. 5. Top with Berries. Repeat layer ^.^ Add fresh mint leaves on top: when you reach the very top:
6. 6.Put in fridge for a few hours or over-night for flavor.
