3 cups boiling water
2 cups cornmeal
1/2 cup butter, cut up
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups milk
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 Tablespoon baking powder
T. Preparacion → 15 min
T. Cocinado → 50 min
1. Pour 3 cups boiling water gradually over cornmeal, stirring until smooth.
Add butter and salt, stirring until smooth; let stand 10 minutes.
Gradually stir in milk and lightly beated eggs.
Stir in baking powder.
Pour mixture into a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Bake at 375 for 45-50 minutes or until lightly browned and set.
