Gail's banana fritters
Receta por5 bananas (very ripe)
2 rounded tablespoons granulated sugar
6 heaped tablespoons self raising flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Juice of half a lemon
Vegetable oil for frying
Caster sugar and lemon wedges for serving
T. Preparacion → 20 min
T. Cocinado → 20 min
1. Mash the bananas
2. Add salt, sugar and lemon juice and mix well
3. Add the flour, mixing well between each spoonful
4. Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan/griddle
5. Use a good tablespoon of batter for each fritter
6. Spread out slightly in the pan and fry both sides until brown
7. Serve immediately with sprinkled sugar and lemon
