1 lb. ground beef 1/4 lb. bulk pork sausage 1/2 cup chopped onion 4 oz. can diced green chili pepper, drained 1 clove garlic, minced 1 (15 1/4 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up 2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup sliced pitted ripe olives 1 cup corn meal 1 cup milk 1 cup shredded longhorn or cheddar cheese

1. Cook ground beef, pork sausage, onion, green chilies, and garlic until beef and sausage are browned and the vegetables are tender. Drain fat. Add corn, undrained tomatoes, chili powder and salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, cooking and stirring for 3 minutes. Pour the meat mixture into a greased 2 quart rectangular baking dish. Sprinkle with olives. Combine the corn meal, milk and half of the cheese. Spoon over the mixture in dish. Bake in a 350 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through and the topper is set. Sprinkle with remaining cheese the last 5 minutes of baking.
