3 to 5 lbs. pork ribs 1 Tbsp salt 1 Tbsp. sugar 1 Tbsp. pepper Barbecue sauce
1/2 stick margarine 1 cup ketchup 2 Tbsp. cooking oil 1 Tbsp mustard 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 med. lemon juice 1 Tbsp. vinegar dash garlic salt 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1/8 tsp. chili powder pinch crushed red pepper 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

1. Parboil ribs 15 minutes in large pan. Mix salt, sugar, pepper and rub ribs thoroughly with this mixture. To prepare sauce, combine all ingredients and mix well. Brush on ribs and cook on charcoaler over low fire for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Bank coals to keep from browning to quickly. Baste and turn at 20 to 25 minute intervals. Remove to cutting board and slice into individual serving portions. Serves 6. This sauce is good on chicken, pork and brisket.
