" cherry bars"
Receta por1 1/4c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 can cherry pie filling
Glaze
1 c. powdered sugar
1-2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp almond extract
T. Preparacion → 30 min
T. Cocinado → 35-45 min
1. preheat oven to 350
2. grease and flour 15x10 jellyroll pan
3. cream sugar, butter, and vanilla until light and fluffy
4. add eggs one at a time
5. lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off
6. gradually add flour and baking powder, blend well
7. set aside 1/3 of batter
8. spread 2/3 batter into bottom of jellyroll pan (it's not easy)
9. spread pie filling over batter
10. drop remaining batter by tsp fulls randomly on top
11. in a small bowl blend glaze ingredients; drizzle over top when cooled
12. cut and serve
