Butternut squash soup

4 cups cubed butternut squash
2 cups carrots, sliced
1 onion, diced
2 inches ginger root, cubed
6 slices bacon
Salt to taste

Instrucciones
1. Place squash, carrots, onion, salt, and ginger in a slow cooker. Cook until all veggies are tender (about 90 minutes).
2. Puree in blender (vent the lid to allow steam to escape), adding water to achieve desired smoothness.
3. Serve with bacon, hot or chilled.
