2 cups lukewarm water ¾ cup sugar 1 tsp. salt 3 eggs 1 pkg. dry yeast 4 Tbsp. shortening

1. Place shortening in bowl and melt. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup water. Add other cup of water to melted shortening. Add beaten eggs, sugar, and salt to the shortening mixture. Gradually stir in yeast. Begin to add flour 2 cups at a time until 4 cups have been added. Mix well gradually. Stir in until stiff dough is made. Mix until smooth. Cover and refrigerate. About 2 hours before serving take out amount needed. Make into desired shape. Place in greased pan and let rise until double. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes. Keeps in the refrigerator about 4 to 5 days.
