Tomato Chutney of Kitchen Snippets - Recipefy

Grated coconut-1/2 cup
Tomato-1 chopped
Shallots/ small onion-5
Garlic-1 pode
Ginger- 1 tblspn
Salt
Oil-1 tblspn

For seasoning
Oil-1tblspn
Mustard seeds-1tspn
Curry leaves

1. Heat 1 tblspn oil in a pan and saute all the ingredients except coconut.

2. Saute for 1 mint till the raw smell goes.No need to make tomatoes soft.

3. In a grinder add coconut ,salt and sauted ingredients and grind to a smooth paste adding enough water.

4. Heat oil in another pan,splutter mustard seeds.
Add curry leaves and the grinded paste.Mix well and remive from fire.
Dont boil.

5. Serve with idli/ dosa.
