Sweet Orange Dijon Chicken of Liat Samuel - Recipefy

1/4 cup Lemon-lime Soda
1/4 cup Orange Juice
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
3 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp Minced Ginger Root
1 tsp Paprika
1 Orange
24 oz Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Prep. Time → 55 min

Cook Time → 80 min

1. Combine the Soda, OJ, Mustard, Soy Sauce, Honey, and Ginger Root in a small bowl and mix well.

2. Coat washed Chicken in 3/4 cups of the Mixture in a sealed plastic bag. Refrigerate for 45 minutes. (Refrigerate the rest of the Mixture separately as well.)

3. Preheat oven to 375F.

4. Place marinated Chicken in a shallow roasting pan. Bathe Chicken with the remainder of the Mixture. Bake uncovered for 60 minutes.

5. Slice the Orange into rings.

6. Remove pan from oven and flip the Chicken. Baste in remaining liquid Mixture. Sprinkle with Paprika. Place sliced Orange rings on top of and around the Chicken.

7. Bake uncovered for another 15-20 minutes or until surface is golden brown.

8. Drain remaining liquid Mixture into a small saucepan and boil over high heat until it becomes syrupy.

9. Serve the chicken over rice pilaf. Pour the syrupy Mixture ove the chicken. Place Orange rings as garnish.
