Strawberry nut salad

1 small pkg. strawberry jello 1 cup boiling water 1 small box strawberries, thawed and drained 1 small can pineapple tidbits, drained 3 bananas, mashed 1/2 cup nuts, optional 8 oz. cream cheese 1 cup sour cream 1/4 cup sugar

1. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Fold in strawberries, pineapple, bananas and nuts. Stir. Pour 1/2 of mixture into oblong baking dish which has been sprayed lightly with Pam. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Leave the other 1/2 of the mixture sitting on the cabinet. Meanwhile, blend cream cheese, sour cream and sugar together. Spread over first mixture. Immediately pour remaining strawberry mixture over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours.
