Slow cooker butter chicken
Recipe by
1 onion minced
1 tbsp minced garlic
19 oz can crushed tomatoes (or 2 cups of puréed fresh tomatoes) - I used 28 oz can of whole tomatoes and just crushed them
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp tomatoe paste
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar ( I forgot)...will do next time
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
2 cups whipping creme
Prep. Time → 10 min
Cook Time → 6 min
1. To a 5 quart slow cooker add onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes, Garam masala, turmeric, tomatoe past, salt and sugar Mix until combined
Add Chicken and mix into the sauce. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours
Add whipping cream and stir to combine. Continue cooking on low of 15 min or until hot. Serve hot over basmati rice or with naan
