Rick bayless' goat cheese dip

1/4 cup pine nuts
4 oz. goat cheese log, softened
3 oz. package cream cheese, softened
8 oz salsa of your choice
fresh chopped cilantro
crackers, tortilla chips or toasted bread slices

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Toast pine nuts on a cookie sheet, stirring often.
Blend cheeses together and mix in pine nuts. (It's helpful to use your hands to blend.)
Form cheese mixture into a 5-inch diameter disc and put in baking dish.
Spoon salsa on and around cheese disc.
Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Sprinkle cilantro around cheese.
Serve with warm, toasted French bread slices, crackers or tortilla chips.
