Perfect meringue for pies

3 egg whites, add ½ tsp. salt
Beat until foamy.
Add ¼ tsp baking powder
Beat until stiff
Add 6 Tbsp. sugar gradually
1 tsp. lemon juice or 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
1. Beat until real stiff. Spread on pies and cook at 325 fro 25 to 30 minutes.
