Overnight apple butter
Recipe by Zachary Moore
Granny Smith apples, 10 pounds
Dark Brown sugar, 2.5 cups
Light Brown sugar, 2.5 cups
White sugar, 2 cups
Cinnamon, 2.5 tablespoons
Ginger (Fresh minced), 2 tablespoons
Allspice, 1 tablespoon
Prep. Time → 60 min
Cook Time → 600 min
1. Peel and core apples, then chop fine in food processor.
2. Combine with all other ingredients in slow cooker.
3. Turn cooker to low heat, and leave overnight (or 8-10 hours).
4. Uncover and stir until butter is very thick and liquid does not visibly pool in depressions.
5. Serve immediately or can in sterilized glass jars.
