Old fashioned pancakes

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp white sugar
3 cups milk
5 egg
6 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 tsp almond extract

Prep. Time → 5 min

Cook Time → 15 min

1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.

2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

3. OPTIONS
- replace 2 cups of milk with 2 cups of sour cream
- add blueberries while cooking
- add sliced, cinnamon coated apples while cooking
