Mr goodings spicy lamb surprise
Recipe by2 tablespoons of cooking oil, 1 large diced onion, 8 nice sized neck of lamb (i keep the fat for flavour or stock but you dont have to) orange zest, 2 tablespoon of both orange juice and tomato puree, of each 1 table spoon of sugar, dry mustard and cornflour, tiny bit of ginger, half a pint of hot beef stock.
Prep. Time → 10 mins min
Cook Time → low 8-10 hours, high 4-5 hours min
1. 1. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the onions until brown. Drain well and pop it into the pot.
2. Add the chops till brown and chuck them into the pot.
3. Mix together everything but the cornflour in a bowl (taste it, may need salt or seasoning) and pour it over the chops in the pot.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 5.
5. Lift out the chops, dissolve the cornflour in the cold water and stir it until thick. When done chuck the chops back in and reheat them. Taste season and your done.
