Ingredients for 6 cups
1 quart water
2 1/2 c sugar
3 tbsp instant coffee
1 long vanilla bean slit or 1 tbsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup vodka
Medium
Directions
1. Bring water, sugar and coffee to a boil in a saucepan.
Simmer VERY slowly for 3 hours. Mixture will be very dark and syrupy.
Cool, add vanilla and vodka.
