Gujiya Recipe- Holi Sweets  of Trisha garg - Recipefy

• 250 gm Flour
• 500 gm Khoya
• 100 gm Almonds, chopped
• A few Raisins
• 3 tbsp Cooking Oil
• 100 ml Water
• 250 gm Sugar
• 2 tbsp Grated Coconut

Prep. Time → 1 min

Cook Time → 30 min

1. 1. Mix the oil and flour together
2. Add some water and knead the entire mixture lightly
3. Make a soft dough and keep it aside covering it with a damp cloth
4. Prepare the filling by frying the khoya in cooking oil
5. Sauté it till it becomes light brown in colour
6. Add sugar to the khoya and mix it properly
7. Add almonds and raisins to the mixture
8. Cook the filling for a few more minutes
9. Remove the filling from fire and set it aside to let it cool
10. Take the kneaded dough and make small thick rotis from it
11. Fill half of the roti with the khoya mixture and seal the sides of the roti by rolling it
12. Create the hemming look by sealing the roti decoratively for better presentation
13. Keep the flame at low and deep-fry the gujias until they become light golden brown in colour
14. Remove the fried gujias and keep them on tissue paper to soak the excess oil
15. Garnish with grated coconut on top
