Grandma janice frozen dairy dessert (ann)

1 container sherbet norm size (I do pineapple)
1 package of Mother's brand macaroons crushed and crumbled (Can also use mother's coconut cocadas)
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 tablespoons sugar

Prep. Time → 30 min

1. Set the sherbet out on the counter to soften for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile whip the cream until slight mountain peaks form with a hand mixer. Add the sugar and vanilla and mix it in.
Take the cookies and crush them with your hands in a big ziplock bag. Set aside 1 cup of crumbled cookies for the topping. Dump the rest of the crumpled cookies into the bowl of sherbet mixed with whipping cream. Mix them all together. spread the Frozen sherbet, cookies, and whipping cream mixture into a 9 by 13 pan. Then sprinkle the one cup reserved cookie crumbles over the top. Pt in the freezer to harden.
When ready to serve, remove the frozen dessert and cut it with a spatula in squares. You can put a cookie on the side if you want. Eat it right away!
