1. "Is there nothing better than French toast for Sunday breakfast? Thick slices of bread, soaked in a mixture of beaten eggs with milk and cinnamon, toasted in a frying pan, and served with butter and maple syrup, this has to be one of our favorite breakfast dishes. It works best with a wider style multigrain bread. Fresh bread, or bread that has been sliced too thin tends to get mushy and fall apart when soaked in the egg milk mixture. Many people serve with powdered sugar; I believe there is enough sugar in the maple syrup, so I don’t add more."
2. - oil steel frying pan with 1 tbl extra light olive oil
-use wide shallow bowl like my pasta bowls to dip bread
-add eggs and break up yolks, add milk, cinnamon and vanilla, mix with mixer on lowest setting for 45 secs
-dip 2 pieces of bread in mixture in bowl and add to frying pan. cook to taste
-dip other 2 slices of bread in egg mix in bowl while cooking first 2 slices
-add last 2 slices to frying pan and cook to taste.
