Gajar ka halwa/carrot halwa

Carrots-3 cups grated
Milk-1/4
Sugar-as needed
Cardamom powder-1 pinch
Ghee-1 tblspn
Cashewnuts-as needed
Milk powder-1 tblpsn
1. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add cashewnuts.saute them slightly
Add grated carrot and give a good mix.
Now add milk ,cover the cooker and cook for 1 whistle.
Open the cooker and see if there is any water content remaining.If so keep the flame in lowest and let everything dry up.
Once the moisture evaporates,add sugar and milk powder and stir continuously till the halwa starts to get separated from the sides of the cooker.Finally sprinkle a pinch of cardamom powder and give a good mix.
Remove from fire,arrange in a dish; garnish with sliced cashewnuts.
