Egg and Bacon Pie of David Le Mottee - Recipefy

1 Bunch of spring onions, sliced
1 oz of butter
6 rashers of streaky bacon, chopped
500g pack of shortcrust pastry
4 eggs,hard-boiled and chopped
2 eggs 9fl oz of milk, plus extra to glaze

Prep. Time → 10 min min

Cook Time → 40 min min

1. Preaheat the oven to 200.
Fry the spring onions in the butter for 1 min then
add bacon and fry for 3 min.

2. Roll out half the pastry and line a 10in metal pie dish.
Put the hard- boiled eggs and bacon mixture into
the dish.
Beat the eggs with milk and pour over the filling.

3. Use the rest of the pastry to make a lid and press to seal.
Re-roll the pastry trimmings and make leaves to garnish.
Brush with milk and bake for 40 minutes.
