Coffee pastry cream

750ml milk
190g caster sugar
6 eggs yolk
60g cornstarch
1-2 tbsp instant coffee
1 tbsp dark rum (don't use Kahlua-too sweet and artificial flavor)

Directions
1. Combine milk, coffee and rum and bring to a boil. In a bowl, mix the eggs yolk with sugar, add cornstarch and whisk.
2. Pour the milk into the bowl, mix well and return the mixture to the saucepan. Whisk briskly and let cook for 1-3 minutes after it began to boil.
3. Wrap and place into fridge until the cream is cool.
