Ingredients
Cauliflower florets - of 1 small
Oil-For frying
For batter
All purpose flour/maida-1/4 cup
Cornflour-4 tblpsn
Kashmiri chilli pwdr- 1 1/2 tspn
Tomato sauce-2 tblspn
Hing/Asafoetida/Kayam pwdr-a pinch
Warm water-as needed
Salt
Directions
1. Mix together all the ingredients listed under "for batter" .Add enough warm water to make and make a thick batter.
2. Heat oil in a deep pan .. As it gets smoky hot, reduce flame and keep in medium flame. Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter and put in hot oil.
Flip and fry both sides
Serve hot with tomato sauce
