Carrot Poori of Kitchen Snippets - Recipefy

Wheat flour-1 cup
Carrot-3 medium sized
Salt
Oil-for frying poori
Water-as needed ( see notes )

1. Cook carrot in a pressure cooker by adding enough water.Cook till it becomes really soft.

2. In a deep bowl mix together wheat flour and salt.Then add the cooked carrot pieces to it.Mash and mix the carrot into the wheat flour with your hand.Mix and knead well to make a smooth dough.Add water if you need to make it a dough( see notes ).Cover and keep aside for 15 mints.

3. Then make small balls out of the dough.Roll them into small circles.

4. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the pooris.Remove from fire and serve hot with potato and carrot masala.

5. Notes: I could knead the dough without adding water.The water content in cooked carrot would be enough to make the dough.
