Carrot cake

Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup oil
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Allspice
4 eggs
3 cups carrots finely grated
Frosting
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups icing sugar
walnuts (optional)
4 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
1. Cake
Sift dry ingredients into large bowl. Add oil. carrots and Stir well (mixture will be thick) Add Eggs, one at a time, mix well. Pour batter in a 9x13 greased pan. Bake 40 min. and when cooled frost.
2. Frosting
Cream margarine, cheese. Add icing sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add Vanilla.
