Scotch pancakes
Rezept von Melanie Epstein
1 tsp white wine vinegar
150ml milk (room temp)
110g plain flour
1tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 egg
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp golden syrup
Vorb. Zeit → 5 Min.
Koch Zeit → 7 Min.
1. Add vinegar to milk and set aside
2. Add bicarbonate to flour
3. In separate bowl add egg, oil, then syrup and whisk
4. Add vinegar/milk mix
5. Add dry ingredients and mix to batter
6. heat heavy non-stick pan with no oil.
7. Add desertspoon of mix to make each pancake.
8. Turn when bubbles appear.
9. Keep warm and eat with Maple syrup or nutella
