Mildly spicy pork chops
Rezept von2 pork chops about an inch thick, (fat removed if you wish, see pork scratchings below)
Vorb. Zeit → 10 Min.
Koch Zeit → 30 Min.
1. Coat chops in oil and as many spices as you can rub into them
2. Fry chops on medium heat for 10 minutes then add remaining spices, garlic and simmer for 20 minutes.
3. Near end remove chops and add your favourite herbs, tarragon is mine and add 2 tsps of plain flour to thicken sauce.
4. Add some chicken stock to make the simple sauce then warm chops up again and serve.
5. PORK SCRATCHINGS
take the fat from the chops and cut it into small 1/4" pieces,
6. put in a GLASS dish and cover with a GLASS lid so air can escape.
7. microwave for about 9 minutes on full power, be very careful because it does get incredibly hot so use oven gloves to take it out.
8. you can drain off the lard and feed it to the birds or use it the fry the above recipe.
